Campers will participate in:
• Warm-ups & Movement Drills: Coordination, agility, and body awareness exercises
• Technique Instruction: Step-by-step learning of fundamental Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) techniques
• Partner Drills: Safe, guided practice to build understanding, control, and confidence
• Positional Training & Games: Fun, controlled activities that reinforce techniques in an engaging way
• Self-Defense Training: Campers will learn practical, age-appropriate self-defense skills focused on awareness, positioning, and control rather than aggression. Emphasis is placed on how to stay safe, create space, and seek help when needed.
Bully Awareness & Prevention:
Through guided discussions and scenario-based activities, students will learn how to recognize different types of bullying, respond with confidence, and use their voice effectively. We focus on de-escalation, setting boundaries, and making smart decisions in challenging situations.
